[comp.mail.uucp] Gateway to UK Cambridge Ring?

Does anyone out there in NetLand know of a way to reach systems on the
UK Cambridge Ring NOT in the .UUCP/.UK maps/domains?  I have a fellow
student who needs to reach the Amdahl system @ Leeds to be specific?
How does one reach these systems?
