[comp.mail.uucp] UUCP through a micom port selector

     Is there a way to have uucp negotiate with a micom port selector
to select a site, which, in our case means "connect to the outdial port
on the micom", then dial a phone number (tell the micom to do that),
then connect to a terminal concentrator, then to a specific host, then
log into that host.  [* Don't you just love run-on sentences? *] Can
one accomplish this by just stringing out "except-send" strings on the
L.sys entry for the named site?  I remember seeing something,
somewhere, about entries for micom in one of the files (maybe
L-devices), but I can't find it anymore.
