I want to avoid logging into Compuserve all the time to
get my mail. What I'm after is software for UNIX that will poll
Compuserve, capture e-mail and then provide a mail interface
that will allow me to read the mail locally on the UNIX system
and send replies back to Compuserve.
I'm not asking for a "real" CompuServe <-> UUCP system. I've seen
similar utilities for logging in and capturing Forum messages and then
providing a local message reader for DOS, Amiga, and Atari systems
(I forget the names right now, but I know they exist, at least in binary
form).
Does anybody have such a beast in source for UNIX? Reply by E-mail
and I'll summarize if there's interest. Thanks.
