Getty on BSD systems allows login prompts as long as 512 bytes, and some systems use most of them. My uucico (AIX 2.2.1) says 'enough, already' after about 200 bytes and continues with the next step in the chat script. Is there a simple way to get uucico to accept long prompts? I'm reluctant to write a complicated expect/send sequence that would be broken by a minor change in the prompt. Chuck Karish karish@denali.stanford.edu hplabs!hpda!mindcrf!karish (415) 493-7277
