I think the subject was discussed sometime in the past, but I managed to miss it somehow. Anyhow ... I'm having problems with uucp over an MNP5 modem. The simptoms are that when transfering the files, the 'g' protocol gets bad headers, enters an alarm-retry loop, and gives up after 10 cycles. I know that the problem is somehow connected to the MNP doing the Xon-Xoff by itself, without passing it to the poor uucp. I also know that the modem can be configured somehow to pass Xon-Xoff through. I've tryed all the combinations that seemd reasonable, but obviously didn't hit the right one. The modems I'm working with are Microcom AX2400C, but I had the same problem with MultiTech modems at 2400 w/ MNP. If there's a mercyful soul out there, please either enlighten me on the matter, or just send me the right HDB Dialers and Devices extracts to make the darn thing work.
