WCGY-FM (93.7, Lawrence MA) is celebrating Bruce Springsteen's birthday all week. As part of their celebration, they are playing several unreleased songs dating back to his original demo/audition tapes. Anyone know where they got these? (They were somewhat evasive when I called.) I assume they're not commercially available - are they a "radio station only" promo product, or an out-and-out bootleg? AWR

There is a bootleg floating around called DEMOS. I have to assume that this is where WCGY got the tracks from--hence why they were so evasive as to their source.
