Sorry if this is the wrong newsgroup. This isn't a mail question, but it is a uucp question. I'm trying to get my Northgate 386/16 running Interactive 386/ix v.2.0.1 (sysVr3.2), with BNU, to talk to a Practical Peripherals PM2400SA modem. The modem works with Procomm under messy-DOS when I tell Procomm the modem is Hayes-compatible. The factory /usr/lib/uucp/Dialers I have has entries for Hayes modems, but none of these seem to work when I try them in the /usr/lib/uucp/Devices file. Before I go wasting time playing with expect-send fields and running cu -d, I thought I would ask the NET if anyone has already written a /usr/lib/uucp/Dialers entry for the PM2400SA. Thank you.
