[comp.mail.uucp] Elimination of d.* uucp map files

When will the elimination of geographic d.* uucp map files be com-
plete?  I still have a few of nontrivial length lying about, and I'm
wondering when it will be safe to junk them.  Also, will the README,
Glue and AProject files retain their d. prefixes?

I plan to publish all of the d.* files one more time.  I want to
ensure that those sites that use automated mechanisms to keep up to
date have the old files effectively zeroed out.  Once this posting is
done, I will begin to clean up the remaining d.* files e.g. d.Top,
d.APorject and the like.  Some of these may stay, some may go.
All will be announced in due time.
