[] This seems like the right group...... I'm having problems with HDB uucp on our HP-UX 6.5 system (a 9000/370 if that helps). When a local site tries to uucp to us, I frequently see the message: IN SEND/SLAVE MODE (INPUT FAILURE) in the log. And of course, the transfer fails. I can't find any reference to this message in the manuals. It doesn't happen all the time - sometimes everything works ok - so I don't think I have a problem with the Permissions file.
