I recently picked up UUPC for the Mac from one of the ftp sites. While I
find that it works just fine when calling out, I can't figure out how to get
it to accept calls from other sites. I'd like to be able to just leave it
running and receive calls when they come in. It seems that the most
efficient way to run things is to only call out when you have something to
send and for them to only call you when they have something to send you (at
least for a low volume connection). Plus one site I want to connect to
doesn't accept incoming connections, they only do outgoing calls for uucp
connections.
Any suggestions would be appreciated, I'm even willing to start working on
the sources and implementing it if that's what's required. Speaking of sources,
does anyone have sources that compile with Lightspeed C and/or create a
standalone application?
