No. This rumor is false. Just _one hour_ ago, I got Smail 3.1 patch #18 from one of Smail 3's authors. It is true, however, that their Real Jobs are holding up the official release. It rankles with them and the rest of us, but there it is. Besides, the distribution terms of the source specify that no one can keep you from distributing it. If Ron Karr and Landon Noll were suddenly to defect to East Germany, I'd release it in their behalf. :-) -- You may redistribute this article only to those who may freely do likewise.
