[comp.mail.uucp] alternate bang paths

    I don't know if I'm using the terminology accurately so let me
apologize for setting knowledgeable people's teeth on edge.
    Is it possible to have alternate bang paths to a system. Say,

              a!b!c!joe

                  and

              a!c!joe

where joe would get his mail directly from system a, if c called first,
but routed through b if b called first?
