I'm trying to get uucp working between a Sun Sparcstation running SunOS 4.0.3 and a Gould/Encore 9050 running UTX 2.1 over dialup lines using 9600 baud Trailblazers. The Sun is always the one that makes the call, and everything works fine until the Sun (cayuga) issues the H command, the Gould (batcomputer) responds with HN, and becomes the master. Batcomputer then issues a send request, and the Sun ignores it, giving a "bad header" message. Part of the debug output from the Sun's uucico follows: Proto started g protocol g *** TOP *** - role=1, wmesg 'H' send 210 rmesg - 'H' rec h->cntl 41 state - 10 rec h->cntl 37777777611 send 41 got HN PROCESS: msg - HN HUP: *** TOP *** - role=0, rmesg - '' rec h->cntl 150 bad header 37777777621,h->ccntl 123 rec h->cntl 150 bad header 37777777621,h->ccntl 123 alarm 1 send 41 rec h->cntl 150 bad header 37777777621,h->ccntl 123 rec h->cntl 150 bad header 37777777621,h->ccntl 123 rec h->cntl 150 bad header 37777777621,h->ccntl 123 rec h->cntl 150 bad header 37777777621,h->ccntl 123 rec h->cntl 150 bad header 37777777621,h->ccntl 123 rec h->cntl 150 bad header 37777777621,h->ccntl 123 rec h->cntl 150 bad header 37777777621,h->ccntl 123 rec h->cntl 150 bad header 37777777621,h->ccntl 123 rec h->cntl 150 bad header 37777777621,h->ccntl 123 got FAIL send 10 send 10 cntrl - -1 send OO -1,imsg > D.batcompB7jj2 D.batcompB7jjS gaarder - D.batcompB7jj2 0666\ 0\ 0\ 0\ 20< OOOOOO\ 0exit code 0 What the Gould was sending was: S D.batcompB7jj2 D.batcompB7jjS gaarder - D.batcompB7jj2 0666 Any ideas?
