[comp.mail.uucp] uucico fails - BAD READ

gfl@vexpert.uucp (Gerhard Fleischanderl) (03/22/90)

We have troubles with mail-transfer via UUCP.

When we call our relay-host (running our uucico in master-mode)
to send mails to the relay-host, the data-file of the first message
is transferred correctly. The work-file is also transferred, but
the slave-uucico does not send a "copy complete". Instead, "alarm"
is reported by uucico.
At the end of this message, I give the relevant sections from
/var/spool/uucp/LOGFILE and from uucico's output.

Our host is a SPARCstation1 (SunOS 4.0.3c), the relay-host runs
Ultrix 3.0.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks a lot.
