my host is something like a little backbone for some private sites
in the Frankfurt area. Most of these sites are owned by students.
I feed them com.all, news.all, gnu.all and some other newsgroups.
For mail I am connected with unido and we have to pay DM 0.60 ($ 0.35)
for every KB mail from USA. For this very high price it is nearly not
possible to request software from mail servers in the states.
That's the reason why I am locking for a direct PEP (T2000) connection
to some well connected host in the states. This connection should be
used only for access to mail servers with return paths like
user%wrkof@some_us_site. I would like to poll this host weekly
or if I expect some mail for my site.
Now my question: Would you allow me to poll your host for this
kind of mail transfers and what are the conditions?
