Help! Our newsfeed is broken and no one knows why! It happened on the day that they switched all of their telcom over to a new system, but I'm not sure if that has anything to do with the problem or not. What I find puzzling is that I am connecting and logging into the feed properly, the two uucico's negotiate the protocol and decide there are files to be transferred. But then my feed seems to be sending me bad packets! I also get a feed from uunet and have no problems there, so I'm pretty sure the trouble is at my feed site. I've included the debug log below, as well as a successful one with uunet. Can someone tell me what the problem is, or at least where to look? The feed machine is a Sequent. I access it by calling up a DEC LAT and then CONNECT to the Sequent. As far as I can find out, the only change since things broke is the switch to an Ericson (?) telcom system. We've been getting news for months previously with no problems. Thanks for any assistance!
