I'm sick and tired of all silly talk about who pays the bill. Do any of you individuals out there pay for YOUR internet connection? Most of the internet connections are either commercial, military, or educational institutions. In all three cases, the cost is ultimately not paid by those who use the service. Commercial ventures pass on the cost to customer (if the didn't, they couldn't say in business). Military/ government institutions are funded by _everyone_ because they are funded by taxes. Most educational institutions are also funded by the government in some fashion. Again, the people using the service are not paying for it (**unless you consider that they too are taxpayers**). So cut the crap about people asking for free stuff when 1) You are not paying for it either, 2) we are _all_ paying for it. Now why don't you get back to serious discussion of something that matters.
