We run Smail 2.5, and are a uucp only site. Banzai is our main machine, and is also the root host for our .PCC.COM domain. We have several computers attached (via UUCP) to banzai. I have set up a .forward file in my home directory that has: jay@bozo.PCC.COM in it. The idea being, of course, that any mail sent to banzai for me should be forwarded to bozo. Here are the permissions and ownership of my home directory and the .forward file: drwxr-xr-x 11 jay PCC 1136 Sep 14 10:13 /u2/user/jay -rw-r--r-- 1 jay PCC 17 Sep 11 19:56 /u2/user/jay/.forward The relevant portions of our /usr/lib/uucp/paths file on banzai are: .pcc.com %s 4000 banzai %s 0 banzai.pcc.com %s 0 Now, when people send to banzai, it gets forwarded to bozo properly, but if people send to jay@pcc.com, it ends up in my mailbox on banzai! Anyone have any idea why?
