I have seen a discussion on this group a while ago, which implied that SMTP can be run over uucp links, batching several mail jobs (rmails) together to increase throughput. I am not familiar with SMTP, but I am currently running a uucp connection. I am interested in info on SMTP over uucp links, where such code can be found, and what will be required of each of the uucp nodes. If anyone out there has some info, please e-mail or follow up to this group. I think there will be interest in this subject.
