I am currently a student at the University of Rochester and truely enjoy having a connection to the UUCP network through a number of suns on the internet. I would like to retain my connection to the UUCP network when I leave school.. I have all the hardware (modem, computer, etc) and the software to hook up. My only questions are: 1) How much do people pay, if any, to connect to a feed. 2) What types of installations do people normally connect to. i.e. do people connect to universities, businesses, other home machines, etc. 3) What is my best bet to get hooked up? I have info from a company named PSI that will give my UUCP mail hookup for $25/month and news at an additional $75/month. I'd like to have both but $100/month is a bit out of my range and will be for a while. (this coresponds with question #1) Any info will be appreciated. Even if you send me info like, what type of installation is your feed, and their conditions to feed you (i.e, money) that would be great! You can respond by Email and I will repost the results if people are interested. Thank you. Gavin Stark gest_ss@uhura.cc.rochester.edu Student
