[comp.mail.uucp] uucp bad passwd

I am a novice at uucp problems.
Here is the question I have.
I am runninga remote execution between two 3b2 machines. 
The remote execution failes with a i 'bad passwd' error message.
 have checked the passwd in the /usr/lib/uucp/Systems file
and it is correct. I have performed a cu to the remote system 
and used the systems name id and passwd found in the 
Systems file and gotten the Shere message.
Can anyone suggest any other items to check for possible 
examination.
