After listening to this group for the past month or so, it seems like smail (2.5 and 3.x) are the most popular, especially when compared with sendmail. However, most of the arguments have been over fine details. So, I have several questions I am hoping to have answered: Is there a FAQ for this group? (If so, when was it last posted - I don't have a copy). If there isn't one, should there be? I've seen talk (kind of an odd phrase isn't it?) of smail and sendmail, and I'm running mmdf on one machine and whatever Xenix uses on another. If anyone would care to enlighten me regarding features and pros or cons of these or any other mail transport system for unix/uucp, I would be grateful. - Tim Iverson uunet!xstor!iverson BTW, I suspect the net would be grateful if you replied via email, and allowed me to summarize (especially the last question).
