ahd@clutx.clarkson.edu (Drew Derbyshire) slinks: >Anyone remember where FSUUCP is stored for anonymous ftp? > fsuucp is available from polyslo.calpoly.edu. Feel free to copy it to your machine if it's easier to get to (hear that uunet and simtel20? :-)) Version 1.0B was delayed due to hardware problems (my local machine's keyboard dies, and a replacement was delayed. Such is the way of the world), so it will be posted to calpoly later today, early tomorrow. Thanks for your patience. -- Christopher J. Ambler

Does anyone have any clues as to the fate of FSUUCP and its home base of FUBARSYS run by Chris Ambler? I have tried for weeks now to call the bbs, but everytime I have called, it would not answer. I have FSUUCP 1.0B and would like to see what Chris may have done with it over the past 3 months. Any information (Chris? Are you there?) would be *GREATLY* appreciated. Thanks in advance. School has resumed, and 21 units is taking its toll (i had all summer to hack out the first 2 versions). The BBS system (fubarsys) is going back up this afternoon (finally), and fsuucp is continuing to receive attention on the weekends. Please be assured that I have not abandoned it, just with work and school it has to take 3rd priority (which, of course, is why it's shareware... i just can't guarantee delivery. But I'm trying!!). I'm getting there... slowly :-) -- Sig: ++Christopher(); | "I am not nuts. I am condements. Internet: cambler@polyslo.calpoly.edu | I was promoted last thursday!" This may've been a topic already, but: Does anyone know if a newer version than FSUUCP 1.1 R5 has been released? Like R6, or any patches to it? Thanks -mg

I don't have ftp access, only UUCP. Get 1.1R5 via anonymous FTP from polyslo.calpoly.edu, or via anonymous UUCP from osu-cis or uunet. Write to uucp@cis.ohio-state.edu or info@uunet.uu.net, respectively, for instructions. 1.2 will presumably be distributed from the same places.
