[comp.mail.uucp] How do i do this??

    Hi everyone!
I'll be graduating this semester, so this account i'm using will expire
in a few months.  Now i have a nice 386 machine at home and would like
to keep using the Network for reading NEWS and sending E-MAIL. 
Someone metioned to me UUCP, will that help me?  will somebody out there
help me with this? what is UUCP, how do i get it? and will i be able to 
set it up on my DOS 4.0 machine? i think i can get all the required hardware.
