Dear Net News Readers: I have experienced a problem that I cannot seem to find the source. It involves putting a cc on a mail message that is legal yet comes back as invalid. My feeling is that the problem may reside in the local mailer: notice the command failed. > invalid. Below is a sample message with headers: > ======= command failed ======= > > COMMAND: /bin/lmail 'kab' A glance at smail's sources made me think that comes from the fact that /bin/lmail did a nonzero exit. I never investigate closely to figure why because, at least at my site, the command *is* executed (while smail pretends the opposite). luke. - -- _ _ __ Via Aleardo Aleardi, 12 - 20154 Milano (Italy) | | | _ _| (__ PHONE : +39 2 3315328 FAX: +39 2 3315778 | | |(_)(_||_|___) Srl E-MAIL: luke@modus.sublink.ORG ______________________________ Software & Services for Advertising & Marketing
