A friend of mine sends me mail from his PC using the following path: - He composes the message in CCMail. The CCMail network he is using is connected to MCIMail. - He uses MCIMail's Internet gateway to route the message to me. - I am using a Sun SPARCstation running SunOS 4.1.1 and sendmail and connected via uucp to UUNET. The message seems to reach my machine, but it never gets placed in my mailbox. The only reason I believe that I received the message is because of the following entry in /var/spool/uucp/.Log/uuxqt/uunet: uucp uunet (4/5-12:26:41,3333,0) BAD USER NAME (uunet!"JohnVanS_._CCMAIL_+@_XX_+(John_Van_Smith+)%XX_Corporation"@mcimail.com) Is the problem mine or is it a problem with their CCMail network? Is there anything that can be done about it? Thanks, Bryan -- Bryan Van Vliet bryanvv@mttam.uucp or ...!uunet!mttam!bryanvv
