[comp.mail.uucp] which fido-gate is better?

hunter@phoenix.pub.uu.oz.au (James Gardiner [hunter]) (04/25/91)

I have what I think to be the latest versions of
ufgate and rfmail which are fido-uucp mail/news programs.

They look very similar.
I want to know which is better. Which should I go with.
I am interested in setting up a gateway here in australia and
want the simpler method.

A break down of both there advantages and disadvantages would be the
best.. Thanks for the help.

Also, I know there is a mail pickup program for unix in the rfmail package
but, which is better, the one that comes with rfmail or a so called
blinkyterm for unix. Does any one know where I can obtain this
blinkyterm for unix. ftp or uuencode it to me..

I am quite ignorate when It comes to fidonet.
I am running a sun3/50 Sunos4.1

Note: mail may bounce to hunter@phoenix.pub.uu.oz.au
as our new feed has some sendmail.cf problems
to be on the safe side eyrie!phoenix!hunter@labtam.oz.au
Thanks in advance..

James.
