[comp.mail.uucp] call-out frequency

In HDB UUCP on Unix SYSVR3 (Esix), how do I control how often uucp 
tries to dial a particular system?  I understand how to set up Poll,
number of retries, etc, but need to find out how to force an immediate
outdial when mail becomes ready to transmit.
