Well, I hate doing things this way, but I have a problem. Since I moved to HDB UUCP (Sun OS 4.1) I occasionally get incoming mail dropped on the floor because of it not liking some paths. An example: uucp goya (5/20-12:05:27,2933,0) BAD USER NAME (goya!goya!camberley.sd-scicon.co.uk!"BCLSTR::PLP") Is there any known method to get rid of this feature? According to RFC822, colons are acceptable in "word"s if they are quoted. HDB does not seem to like it. Have I misread something? Should my MX host change something? I know they could, but must they do it? I had to drop the feed of many newsgroups a few weeks ago and I don't get this group anymore. Please answer by mail. If you consider that the answer is of general interest, please let me know and I will post a summary. If you think there is a better group for this question, please let me know.
