Anybody know Peter Honeyman's address? I've found a small data set
that will cause bad behaviour in pathalias 9.4, but not in pathalias
9.1. Is he really the right person to look at it? I'm going to
throw this out to you all and also am going to look at it myself.
I have a vested interest in the outcome, after all!

The problem appears to be what my first take on it was. In the following
map set, which is the maps for world, moon, island, and the entries for
moon and island from uunet, there is a long chain of terminated sites.
I think that "world!uunet!<moon>!<island>!<uunet>" is causing
the flip out. Removing the terminators from any one of the elements
makes everything work as expected.

I'm going to include several things. First is the data set that causes
the problem to appear. Let's call it "testmaps". Then I'll include
outputs from both pathalias 9.4 and 9.1 for comparison.

I've received a couple of replies. It's "honey@citi.umich.edu".

Thanks to all!

Actually, for any smail3 users, it is just Peter.Honeyman, any reference
to a machine name is unnecessary, as long as the system can reach the
Internet.
