One thing to watch out for in uucp from a NEXT is that a widely distributed version of the mailer on the Next system was sending mail to uux (i.e., outgoing mail to be transferred via uucp) with carriage return and line feeds at the end of the line. Of course, this doesn't affect uucp at all, which will cheefully transfer the file to the receiving system. However, some versions of rmail couldn't cope, and would just discard the incoming mail and return an error code for the execution. Next knows about the problem; I believe it was just a mailer flag in the sendmail.cf. - Brian
