[comp.mail.headers] Is anyone using the RFC822 address grammar from comp.sources.misc?

john@basser.oz (John Mackin) (10/24/88)

I'd like to get in contact with anyone who has done anything with the
yacc parser for RFC822 addresses that was posted to comp.sources.misc
by David Herron, <david@ms.uky.edu>, back in October of 1987 (article
<4959@ncoast.UUCP>). I've been working on it for a while and have
fixed several bugs and improved its conformance to RFC822 in some
ways; I'd like to find out what others have done with it, and share
the fixes. If I don't get any responses to this, I'll post a patch
to comp.sources.bugs in a couple of months, after the new version of
the mailer I've put it into has been in production for a while.

(Please don't mail me asking me to send you a copy of the original
article; unless, that is, you're in Australia. See Brandon's
periodical postings for a list of comp.sources.misc archive
sites.)
