When I re-send (forward) mail, I use the MH "dist" command that adds RFC822 addressing info like "Resent-to: xxx". It routes the message to the new recipient without adding a completely separate header. That's really handy. I've thought I could add things like this to the header (MH makes it easy): Resent-note: Joe, please get back to me about this But Dan Heller pointed out that "Resent-note" isn't anywhere in RFC822... he's right. The Nutshell Handbook I wrote about MH mentions it, oops. How did Resent-note get started? (I probably got the idea off USENET years ago and never checked it in RFC822.) Is it quasi-legal anywhere?
