[comp.emacs] GNU emacs under 2.9bsd?

Has anyone ported a stripped down version of GNU emacs (preferably
verion 18) to a pdp11 running 2.9BSD Unix with overlays?  Is there
any hope of getting it running with only 64K of data address space?
