We've seen an odd problem here and I wonder if anyone else has run across it: There are several shell scripts in use around here (for bug reporting, report submission, etc.) that set up a temporary file, call $EDITOR on it, do some final processing, and exit. People who use GNUmacs find that about 1/3 - 1/2 of the time, exiting the editor also causes the shell script to exit immediately thereafter. Setting traps in the shell script reveals that SIGINT is being sent to the shell script that invoked GNUmacs. This is happening on Gould 9000-series machines running UTX 2.0. Anybody else seen this?
