brian@tlxprs.UUCP (Brian R. Eckert) (03/05/87)
I have just received GNU Emacs 18.36, but have encounted some problems getting it running; I am unable to get a *dumped* image of emacs to run on a Tower 32. When trying to run the dumped version I get the following: Fatal error (11). Memory Fault - core dumped I have tried changing the defaults in the machine file (m-tower32.h) by defining NO_REMAP, but got the same result. I can run temacs and load everything manually and everything seems to be happy; only the dumped version has trouble. BTW: I'm including s-usg5-2.h and m-tower32.h in config.h... Can anyone out there offer any help??!!?? Thanks, -brian -- #include <standard_disclaimer.h> Brian R. Eckert UUCP: princeton!macbeth!tlxprs!brian Telexpress, Inc.
