According etc/RCP in all the emacs distributions, the command rcp -ruvp "mit-prep.rcp:/u2/emacs/dist/*" . should allow updates of my dist to the mit-prep dist. This directory no longer exists on mit-prep, but the rcp account is still active. I had success as recent at 18.36. Will anything be taking its place?
