I'd like to thank and congratulate RMS (or whoever did the work) for the generalized UNDO of GNU Emacs. If there was just one reason to choose GNU Emacs over its competitors, that would be it. Every time I use it (i.e. often) I'm surprised at how general-purpose and efficient it is. Question: how is it implemented? REDO from last auto-save? Has a paper been published on the subject? IF so, please tell me the reference. If not, you should publish one! Marc
