[comp.emacs] Ada mode

broman@BUGS.NOSC.MIL (Vincent Broman) (06/01/87)

I've developed an Ada mode for GNU emacs modelled more-or-less after the
pascal and modula-2 modes already available. It is primitive and
inflexible but still useful for getting syntax and indentation right,
especially for beginners in the language. The emphasis is on entering
new code more than reworking old code. The compiler interface is
specific to Ada/Ed.

Elisp code pub/ada.el is anonymously FTP-able from bugs.nosc.mil .
If enormous interest obtains, it might be posted someday.
Bug fixes and enhancements are welcome, of course.
