If anyone has information on the availability of GNU emacs on HP 9000/840's
running HPUX could they drop me a note? I don't get the chance to read
news much any more, so mail would be appreciated.
I have tried porting much of it over, but "unexec" is the one that
is causing a bit of a problem and temacs dies in loading (I think that's
the one...) The existing m-hp9000.h file is for the 68000-based
HP 9000/200/300/500 class machines, not the new RISC-based 800 class
Spectrum series so please don't tell me it's already there...
I've also ended up taking out much of "alloca" and "crt0" that I would
like to put back. But the HPUX is pretty new around here. I don't have
problems digging in, but time is a limited resource.
So if anyone has already done this...
