anyone that can aid me in locating emacs for unix w/termcaps?

It was my assumption that all Unix emacs'es supported termcap. You could get microemacs or full gnuemacs. Microemacs is on simtel20 and gnuemacs is on the host prep.ai.mit.edu. To get it from MIT, get the file /u4/emacs/etc/FTP (via anonymous FTP) and then follow the instructions. Good luck.
