[comp.emacs] GNU emacs on elxsi under BSD ?

Has anyone managed to run GNU emacs on an ELXSI under
BSD? They now use the COFF object format. I have
made what looks like a pretty good crt0.o, and I can
get the whole thing to compile, but when I run it,
it seems to go into an infinite loop in the initial
memory allocation. (It's hard to tell for sure because
the elxsi adb is very poor.)

The subject line sez it all... I have a copy of 18.44. I have struggled
with it under ENIX (3.2?). I think that I need to get larger swap spaces
for processes, or figure out how to put more stuff into "pure []" memory.
I would also like to put it on EMBOS/EMS so that even when I have to use
the ugly thing, I can at least have the same editor (with my customizations).
