I heard that somebody got an early version of MicroEmacs to fit in < 64K by ripping out some buffer management code. (ie they made a single-buffer emacs). I have an aztec C compiler for an 8-bit system, and I'd like to use something with emacs key-bindings, at least, so I can bootstrap myself into bigger and better things. Keyboard macros (the crtl-x '(' ctrl-x ')' on-the-fly kind) are about the only other thing I would need. I'd appreciate mailed or posted 'C' code to such a beast, or a pointer to something available via anonymous FTP. Thanks! -- - Ralph W.
