I have a number of uEmacs based comnmands that rely on the form emacs file1 file2 @startup-file to read in the normal .emacsrc file along with the special startup file used to process files 1 & 2. This works FINE in 3.8i. It doesn't work in 3.9 and I can't find the problem. It seems to be somewhere in the dobuf routine which, at some point, calls itself! However, I have not been able to locate how or where this happens. At any rate, everything seems to go well up to that point. Beyond that it croaks and just leaves the file in a buffer. I am able to execute that buffer with no problem, but of course, I really want the automatic execution formerly provided by '@'. BTW, I could find no mention of the '@' facility in the formated manual and it may be '@' is no longer an official part of uEmacs. If so, I wish somebody would put it back! If anybody has solved this problem, or can solve it, please let me know. -- Bob Peirce, Pittsburgh, PA 412-471-5320 uucp: ...!{allegra, bellcore, cadre, idis, psuvax1}!pitt!investor!rbp NOTE: Mail must be < 30K bytes/message
