[comp.emacs] Printing in TeX mode

windley@iris.ucdavis.edu (Phil Windley) (10/13/87)

Is there a way to change the program that GNU Emacs uses to print out
dvi files in TeX mode. It currently uses lpr -d "filename". This
doesn't work on my system and I'd like it to use iptex. Is there a
hook into TeX mode to do this?

Try setq'ing the variable TeX-dvi-print-command. Another related variable
that you might be interested in is TeX-show-queue-command (in case you want
to use something other than "lpq").
