[comp.emacs] problems with generate.el

(GNU emacs version 17.64 on 4.2 BSD)

Can anyone explain why I am getting "No keyboard macro defined"
messages when I try to execute or expand a macro?  I've been using
this package successfully for months.  My emacs hasn't changed.
