Summary: LISP available on QLink Expires: References: <606@ncrcce.StPaul.NCR.COM> Sender: Reply-To: anderson@ncrcce.StPaul.NCR.COM (Joel peter Anderson) Followup-To: Distribution: Organization: NCR Comten, Inc. Keywords: LISP, Commodore64, C64,QLink Ok - Nobody has told me yet about any C64 Emacs ports, but I have received tons of "hunh, LISP for the 64?". The answer is: "check out Quantum Link, the software libraries, under programming, languages other(if you use QLINK you should understand - if not, it doesn't matter to you I suppose)". This was produced using PROMAL but runs standalone and includes all kinds of examples.... now, to be honest I have not gotten too far with it yet - more to my fault than the system.... Oh, BTW its name is LIMP (Lisp IMPlementation, I assume) and its author says: "limp is a promal and assembly language implementation of the lisp programming language. limp most closely follows the franz dialect of lisp." ------------------------------------------------------- And if my thought dreams could be seen, they'd probably put my head in a guillotine; But its all right ma its life and life only!
