The name of the program is "patch" version 2.0 written by Larry Wall. It was in Volume 7 of mod.sources. I got my copy via e-mail (I do not have ftp) from the CSNET INFO SERVER % mail info-server@sh.cs.net Request: mod.sources Topic: patch2 Request: end For ftp access you could try uunet.uu.net anonymous ftp look in ~ftp/comp.sources.unix/volume7 or you could try j.cc.purdue.edu look in ~ftp/news/comp/sources/unix/volume7 Good luck, Mark Baushke mdb@silvlis.com <-- finally, our domain is registered with NIC silvlis!mdb@sun.com Note: silvlis.com does NOT have an Internet Port
