I was trying out the new gdb mode in 18.50, but the overlay-arrow in the source file wasn't being automatically generated/updated as I stepped through a file. If I put ^Z^Z<source-file-name>/<line-no>/<char-pos>\n into the debugger buffer by hand it would generate an arrow, but gdb didn't seem to do that itself and I couldn't find an option to make it do it. Do I just have an old version of gdb that doesn't spit that out, or I am doing something wrong? "I think you should kill him and eat his brain," Mr. Frostee said quickly.
