[comp.emacs] MicroEmacs 3.9 manual

emacs@eutrc3.UUCP (emacs) (02/08/88)

Anyone out there who has completed a conversion of the Micro Emacs 3.9
manual to a troff, or LaTex format?

A copy in my Email would be much appreciated.

I too would like a troff version of the 3.9 manual. Has anyone made one?
Failing that, does anyone have a Scribe-to-troff conversion program?

I completed some time ago a port of the MicroEmacs 3.9e manual to {nt}roff
format. It was posted to the net back in September (or maybe just a bit
earlier). After receiving several corrections, I posted diffs (suitable for
patch) to bring it up to date.

If there is sufficient interest, I could post it again. If not, I would be
happy to send it to people one way or another (my upstream site, usfvax2,
hates big mail stuff). Send me email at:

I will post if enough people (say at least 30) want it. Otherwise, I'll
make arrangements with the people who send me email.

Many thanks to the kind soul who wrote me that the troff version of the
MicroEmacs manual had already been posted.
The following was the pointer I needed.
Thanks,

# Due to numerous requests, more than 20 actually, it seemed like a good
